Mr. Mutch Shanmukha Rao is currently pursuing a Ph.D. in Physical Sciences from the Academy of Scientific and Innovative Research at the CSIR-Institute of Minerals and Materials Technology (IMMT) in Bhubaneswar, India. He began his doctoral journey in January 2021 and is presently serving as a Senior Research Fellow (SRF). His academic foundation includes an M.Sc. in Physics from Dr. B. R. Ambedkar University, Srikakulam, where he secured a CGPA of 7.94/10, and a B.Sc. in Mathematics, Physics, and Chemistry with a CGPA of 7.52/10 from the same university.

Mr. Rao has garnered notable recognition for his contributions in the field of physical sciences. He was awarded the Junior Research Fellow (JRF) position in May 2020 and has since been awarded the Senior Research Fellow (SRF) role. He qualified the prestigious CSIR-UGC National Eligibility Test for Assistant Professor in December 2019. His accolades also include prizes in debate competitions on National Science Day, participation in various science and technology conferences, and successful completion of multiple training programs.
