Dr. Parvathalu Kalakonda initiated his academic journey with a Master of Science in Physics at the University of Hyderabad, India, from 2000 to 2002. During this period, his research focused on studying solutions to potential problems in 1-D for bound states under the guidance of Professor A. K. Kapoor.

Continuing his academic pursuit, he pursued a Ph.D. in the Physics Department at Worcester Polytechnic Institute, Worcester, MA, USA, from 2010 to 2013. His doctoral thesis, advised by Professor Germano S. Iannacchione, delved into the thermal physical properties of nanocomposites of complex fluids. Additionally, he obtained a Master of Science in Physics from the same institute, conducting research on thermal properties of nanocomposites of liquid crystals for his thesis.

Professional Endeavors

Dr. Parvathalu Kalakonda's professional journey spans diverse research projects and institutions. As a Post-Doctoral Research Fellow at Carnegie Mellon University, he worked on the thermal and mechanical properties of polymer nanocomposites under the guidance of Professor Mohammad Islam.
