His pursuit of knowledge continued at Universiti Sains Malaysia, where he earned his BSc in Geophysics with distinction. This set the stage for his MRes in Ocean Sciences at the University of Southampton, UK, before culminating in a Ph.D. in Remote Sensing from Universiti Teknologi Malaysia.
