Dr. Young Eun is a Republic of Korea national with a strong academic background in Sports and Exercise Science. She earned her Bachelor of Physical Education with a focus on Dance from Chosun University in 1996. Continuing her academic journey, she pursued a Master's degree in Physical Education with a specialization in Exercise & Sport Psychology from Chonnam National University in 1998. Building on her expertise, she completed her Ph.D. in Exercise & Sport Psychology at Victoria University, Melbourne, Australia, in 2005.

Dr. Young Eun's professional journey is diverse, encompassing roles in research, teaching, and management. She started as a Research Assistant at Chonnam National University, contributing to the School of Continuing Education from 1998 to 2000. Following this, she transitioned to the field of education, taking on roles such as an English Teacher and Manager in various institutes in Gwangju, Republic of Korea.
Her commitment to education led her to become a part-time Instructor at Chonnam National University, where she taught courses such as Modern Society & Sport and Health Life & Stress Management from 2006 to 2007.
