🎓 Education and Training

Dr. Ali Haider is currently pursuing a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) at Northwestern Polytechnical University in China from 23/08/2021 to 28/06/2025. His research focuses on the multiphysics behavior of complex fluids, especially heat and mass transfer in non-Newtonian and viscoelastic systems. Dr. Haider has developed an advanced computational framework that integrates both fractional-order and integer-order modeling approaches. By utilizing the Caputo fractional derivative, his work effectively captures memory-dependent effects and hereditary behaviors, providing a more precise and flexible representation of fluid dynamics. To solve these complex models, he employs cutting-edge numerical techniques such as the L1 algorithm, Finite Element Methods (FEM), and Finite Difference Schemes, all implemented in MATLAB. Additionally, he integrates Artificial Neural Networks (ANNs) to enhance computational efficiency and accuracy, especially when modeling highly nonlinear fluid behaviors. His research also includes the effects of magnetic fields, thermal radiation, and buoyancy on fluid dynamics, providing a comprehensive analysis of velocity profiles, temperature distributions, and concentration gradients. The findings have significant implications for optimizing heat and mass transfer in industrial systems, biomedical devices, and environmental technologies.

Dr. Haider previously completed his Master of Philosophy (M.Phil.) in Mathematics at University of Agriculture, Faisalabad, Pakistan, from 01/08/2018 to 01/02/2021, where he earned a final grade of 3.90/4.00. His thesis focused on the analysis of the reflected field in a channel waveguide by exploiting symmetry. He also holds a Master of Science (M.Sc.) in Mathematics from Government College University, Faisalabad (2016-2018), where he achieved a final grade of 3.70/4.00.
