🎓 Education:

Dr. Forouzandeh earned her Ph.D. in Condensed Matter Physics from Tarbiat Modares University, Tehran, Iran, under the supervision of Prof. Nima Taghavinia from Sharif University of Technology, with a GPA of 17.72/20. Her thesis, “Perovskite Solar Cells with Carbon Composite Electrodes and Inorganic Hole Transport Material,” was graded excellent. During 2018-2019, she undertook a sabbatical at École Polytechnique Fédérale de Lausanne, researching reversible and irreversible losses in perovskite solar cells. She holds an M.Sc. in Condensed Matter Physics from Isfahan University of Technology, with a GPA of 17.37/20, where she studied electronic quantum transport of disordered graphene nanoribbons. Her B.Sc. in Physics was also from Isfahan University of Technology, with a GPA of 16.82/20.

🏢 Employment History:

Dr. Forouzandeh is currently an R&D Scientist at Solaires Entreprises Inc. From 2020 to 2022, she served as a Post-Doctoral Researcher in Physics at Sharif University of Technology, Tehran, funded by the Iran Science Elites Federation. Her research focused on printable perovskite solar cells. She also has experience as a Lab Instructor in the Physics Department at Isfahan University of Technology from 2012 to 2013.

👩‍🔬 Supervision of Junior Researchers:

Between 2019 and 2022, Dr. Forouzandeh supervised Master’s and Ph.D. students on projects related to printed perovskite solar cells and optimizing interfaces in SnO2-based perovskite solar cells.

🔬 Research Experience:

Dr. Forouzandeh’s research expertise includes the fabrication of carbon and metal electrode-based perovskite solar cells using spin-coated and blade-coated methods, optimizing device performance, and synthesizing FAPbI3 single crystals. She is proficient in various device characterization techniques, including I-V, IPCE, EIS, and photoluminescence measurements. She is also skilled in programming languages such as C++, Fortran90, Python, and familiar with machine learning.
