🧑‍🔬 Accademic Background

Associate Professor Ts. Dr. Mohd Sharizal Abdul Aziz was born on December 6, 1983, and is a Malaysian citizen. He holds the position of University Lecturer DS54 at the School of Mechanical Engineering, Universiti Sains Malaysia, located in Nibong Tebal, Seberang Perai Selatan, Penang, Malaysia.

🎓Education 

Associate Professor Ts. Dr. Mohd Sharizal Abdul Aziz completed his Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Mechanical Engineering with a focus on Computer Fluid Dynamics from Universiti Sains Malaysia in 2015. He earned his Master of Science in Mechanical Engineering, specializing in Computational Fluid Dynamics, from Universiti Sains Malaysia in 2012. His academic journey began with a Bachelor of Engineering (Honours) in Mechanical Engineering from Universiti Sains Malaysia, awarded in 2006.

🏅Academic Recognition & Leadership 

Dr. Mohd Sharizal has received several prestigious awards, including the Gold Medal & Special Award for the Hybrid Monitoring Model for Critical Infrastructure at the Bangkok International Intellectual Property, Invention, Innovation and Technology Exposition IPITEx 2024, and the Bronze Award for the Intelligence Drone Health Warning System at the Malaysia Technology Expo (MTE) 2024. He was also honored with the Person With Disability (PWD) Special Award at the National PWD Day 2023.

📚 Teaching & Supervision 

He teaches a range of undergraduate courses such as Numerical Computing, Applied Thermodynamics, Heat Transfer, Fluid Dynamics, Engineering Drawing, Machine Design, Computational Fluid Dynamics, Advanced Engineering Calculus, Industrial Training, Integrated Design Engineering Laboratory I, II, III, and Final Year Project. Dr. Mohd Sharizal also supervises both postgraduate research and theses, with roles ranging from main supervisor to co-supervisor for numerous PhD and Master’s candidates.

Dr. Mohd Sharizal is a member of several professional organizations, including the Board of Engineers Malaysia (BEM), the Institution of Engineers Malaysia (IEM), the Electronic Packaging Research Society Malaysia (EPRS), the Malaysia Board of Technologists (MBOT), and the International Association of Engineers (IAENG).
