Prof. Olumide Olayinka Obe, known as O.O. Obe, began his academic journey at Salvation Army Primary School in Ilesa, Nigeria, where he laid the foundation for his future academic achievements from January 1977 to December 1983. He pursued his secondary education at George Burton Memorial College in Ilesa from January 1983 to June 1998, honing his skills and knowledge in preparation for higher studies.

He obtained his B.Tech. in Computer Science from the Federal University of Technology in Akure, Nigeria, in 2000. Subsequently, he pursued an M.Sc. in Computer Science at the University of Lagos, Akoka, Yaba, Nigeria, in 2002. His pursuit of higher education led him to the Politehnica University of Bucharest, Romania, where he earned his Ph.D. in Computer Science in 2010.
