Mr. รlvaro is the proud winner of the III Bioinformatics Datathon, organized by the University of Granada. He is also one of the main developers of the Shiny app ObMetrics, a tool designed to calculate a wide range of Metabolic Syndrome outputs tailored to pediatric patients. Professor Yaser H. A. Elewa is a distinguished Professor of Histology and Cell Biology (currently on Sabbatical leave) at the Department of Histology, Faculty of Veterinary Medicine, Zagazig University, Egypt. He obtained his Ph.D. in Histology and Cell Biology in April 2011 through a prestigious channel system scholarship between Hokkaido University, Japan, and Zagazig University, Egypt. Prior to that, he completed his Masterโ€™s degree in April 2006, focusing on immunological organs in Ostrich, from the same department. He holds a Bachelorโ€™s degree in Veterinary Medical Sciences, graduating with honors in 2001.

Prof. Elewa has held several academic positions, including his current role as a Professor at Zagazig University since April 2021. He has also been a Tenure-track Assistant Professor at the Department of Biomedical Science, Faculty of Veterinary Medicine, Hokkaido University, Japan, since February 2017.
